Jesse Robert Hague was born Dec. 15, 1917 to William W. and Mary Ann Fox Hague. He died Dec. 17, 1945 and has a cenotaph in Oakdale Cemetery, Adel, IA. He is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Lt. Hague served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 41st Fighter Squadron, 35th Fighter Group and was MIA/KIA/FOD when the plane of which he was the pilot failed to return from a combat mission in the vicinity of Buna, New Guinea.
