James Samuel Huston was born Aug. 21, 1921 to Basil E. and Clara M. Huston. He died Aug. 2, 1944 and is buried in Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England.
Lt. Huston served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 329th Bomber Squadron, 93rd Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/KIA/FOD as a member of the crew of a Liberator bomber on a raid to the oil refineries at Ploesti, Romania. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart and Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
