Richard Morton Hoyt was born Oct. 22, 1929 to Harold and Mary Mechem Hoyt. He died Sept. 26, 2006 and is buried in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato, MN.
Lt. Hoyt served in the infantry with the 1st Filipino Infantry in New Guinea and the Philippines.
