Melvin Arnold Hove was born Aug. 21, 1911 to Eddie M. and Hulda Erickson Hove. He died Aug. 19, 1992 and is buried in Lawn Hill Cemetery, Stanhope, IA.

Melvin served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
