Men and Women In Service
Private Edgar P. Hood, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Hood, 1021 S. Newton Street, has enrolled in the armored school at Fort Knox, Ky., for a course in tank mechanics. The class is made up of picked technicians from armored units all over the country and the men will be trained in the task of keeping the army’s tanks in fighting condition. The armored school is under the command of Gen. P. M. Robinett and is one of the world’s largest technical institutions.
