John Richard Hoaglin was born June 4, 1923 to Joseph F. and Bonnie June Rail Hoaglin. He died Nov. 9, 1944 and is buried in Hillsboro Cemetery, Henry Co., IA. His body was returned from France in 1948.
Sgt. Hoaglin served in World War II with the 30th Infantry, 3rd Infantry Division and was KIA while in the service of his country.
