Robert LaVerne Hendricks was born Aug. 30, 1918 to Peter and Mary B. Marten Hendricks. He died Mar. 29, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial, Margraten, Netherlands.
Sgt. Hendricks served in World War II with the U.S. Army 329th Engineer Combat Battalion, 104th Infantry Division and was KIA in Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
