Clayton Verne Hendricks was born Mar. 27, 1921 to Leroy W. and Jennie V. Strand Hendricks. He died Apr. 29, 1998 and is buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
Colonel Hendricks served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was awarded a Purple Heart.
