John Francis Heim was born Ap. 28, 1914 to Edward M. and Frances Parchim Heim. He died July 5, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, France.
Sgt. Heim served with Co. F, 66th Armored Regiment, 2nd Armored Division in the U.S. Army in World War II. He died in France of wounds received and was awarded a Purple Heart medal.
