News About Men in Service From Over Northeast Iowa
Bristow—A Bristow father and son are both serving in the armed forces in World War II. Pvt. Dale Hearn, who entered the service in October, 1943, concluded a 12-day furlough from Camp Roberts, Cal., Friday. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hearn. The father, Lyle Hearn, entered the Army March 24, 1944, and is in training at Camp Van Dorn, Miss.
