Earl Samuel (Sr.) and Lettie Ludima Miller Hathaway had four sons serving their country in World War II: Warren Samuel, Robert Henry, Gerald Lyall and Earl Eugene Jr.
Robert Henry Hathaway was born Apr. 9, 1925. He died Feb. 14, 1998 and is buried in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Fort Dodge, IA.
Sgt. Hathaway served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
