Morris Lane Haskins was born Oct. 10, 1919 to Walter Alvin and Fay Amanda Goodwin Haskins. He died Sept. 27, 1943 and has a cenotaph in Benson Cemetery, Grundy Co., IA.
Lt. Haskins served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 8th Air Force and was KIA and was awarded the Purple Heart.
