Frank Walter Gustafson was born Feb. 25, 1910 to Frank and Ada Caroline Gustafson. He died Sept. 28, 1944 and is buried in Manila America Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Sgt. Gustafson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 322nd Infantry Regiment, 81st Infantry Division and was KIA on Palau Island in the Pacific and awarded the Purple Heart.
