Robert Leon Grimm was born Mar. 11, 1923 to Merle Charles and Blanche Lucille Glessner Grimm. He died Jan. 2, 1945 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial, Dinoze, France and memorialized in Dunkard Cemetery, Midway, IA.
Cpl. Grimm served with the U.S. Army 645th Tank Destroyer Battalion. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
