Cecil Floyd Greenley was born Sept. 3, 1919. He died Apr. 13, 1992 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA.
Sgt. Greenley served with the U.S. Army in World War II in the 104th Timberwolf Division.
His Obituary:
Cecil F. Greenley, 72, Webster City, died Monday, April 13 at the Hamilton County Public Hospital. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Torger Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Graveside military services will be conducted by the American Legion Post No. 191 and VFW Post No. 5720 of Lehigh. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at the Foster Funeral Home until 8 a.m. Friday when the casket will be moved to the church.
Cecil Floyd Greenley, son of Joseph and Grace (Urich) Greenley, was born Sept. 3, 1919 at LeMars. He moved to Webster City at the age of 8 with his family. He graduated from Lincoln Hgh in Webster City in 1938. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army in the 104th Timberwolf Division.
On Oct. 29, 1949, he married Delpha Kathryn Hosler at Webster City. He was a mechanic for many years at Baber Ford in Webster City and Tom Kelley of Fort Dodge. He retired in 1982.
He is survived by his wife; sons, James Greenley, Kamrar, Steven and Tom Greenley, both of Webster City, David Greenley, Ellsworth, Maine; daughter, Kathy Eide, Lehigh; six grandchildren; brothers, Walter, Melvin and Frank Greenley, all of Webster City; sisters, Viola Butler, Wellman, Blanche Hatt, Puyallup, Wash., Jane Fisher, Vallejo, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Chad; and one brother.
He was a member of the Homer United Methodist Church, American Legion Post No. 191 and the VFW Donald Harper Post No. 5720.

Walter Enos Greenley was born Feb. 4, 1915. He died Dec. 5, 2001 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA.
Walter served with the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was an aaviation metalsmith in the Naval Air Corps.
