Elmer Earl Garrett was born May 7, 1918 to Elmer Addison and Ruth Alta Timson Garrett. He died Dec. 3, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Lt. Garrett served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 67th Fighter Squadron, 347th Fighter Group and was KIA over Kendari Island, Celebes Islands and was awarded the Purple Heart.
