Milton Nicklos “Bud” Foley was born Aug. 15, 1918 to William Francis and Elizabeth Margaret Therens Foley. He died May 11, 1945 and was buried at sea and memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Petty Officer Foley served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was KIA as the result of enemy bombing attacks against his vessel while operating in the forward combat area near Japan. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
