Leonard D. Foley was born July 7, 1919 to Albert and Elizabeth Foley. He died Sept. 21, 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, West Coast Memorial, San Francisco, CA and has a cenotaph in Union Grove Cemetery, Northboro, IA.
Sgt. Foley served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 1st Squadron, 72nd Observation Group and was declared MIA.
