Melvin Joseph Flugum was born Feb. 7, 1925 to Norman E. and Christina Bertina Holstad Flugum. He died May 18, 2008 and is buried in Winnebago Lutheran Cemetery, Lake Mills, IA.
Melvin served with the U.S. Army Co. L, 184th Infantry in World War II.
