IN UNIFORM
Don Fleming, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Fleming, 901 S. Cornelia Street, was promoted June 30 from second to first lieutenant in the Marine Corps. Stationed somewhere in the Pacific area, Lieut Fleming left Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, the first of June. He was graduated from East High School, where he was star football player and from Creighton University where he later was a coach. His wife and son, Creighton, live with her parents, Mr. and Mrs H. H. O’Dell, 3108 4th Avenue.
