Richard LeRoy Fenton was born Mar. 21, 1926 to Vernon Glenn and Anna Ella Boss Fenton. He died June 9, 1945 and is buried in Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, CA.
Pvt. Fenton served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and was KIA at Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands. He was awarded the Silver Star, Purple Heart, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign and World War II Victory Medal.
