Lawrence Robert Evans was born about 1918 to John R. and Goldie Houchard Evans. He died Jan. 7, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
Pvt. Evans served in World War II with the U.S. Army 112th Infantry Regiment, 28th Infantry Division and died in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.
