Billie Edward Emerick was born Aug. 12, 1918 to John C. and Jessie Todd Emerick. He died Nov. 11, 1999 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.
Sgt. Emerick served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and became a Japanese POW.
