Bob Ellis, seaman second class, in spending a nine-day leave with his wife at 1811 Douglas street and with his mother, Mrs. Marguerite Ellis, 3826 Third avenue. He is stationed at Port Hueneme, California.

Robert Wayne Ellis was born Jan. 30, 1921 to Percy and Marguerite F. Huntley Ellis. He died July 18, 2007 and is buried in Hillside Cemetery, Merrill, IA.
Robert served with the U.S. Navy Seabees in World War II.
