Alfred Reese Ellis was born May 21, 1907 to Griffith and Kate Rawsinowen Orum Ellis. He died May 30, 1945 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing in North Africa American Cemetery and Memorial, Carthage, Tunis, Tunisia.
Lt. Ellis served with the U.S. Army Air Corps 102nd Base Unit in World War II and was MIA/KIA as the result of an airplane crash in Ghana while in the service of his country.
