Seaman Boyd P. Ellerbroek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Ellerbroek, is home on furlough.

Mrs. Boyd Ellerbroek has gone to New York City to be with her husband, until he is called back to overseas duty. Mrs. Ellerbroek is the former Charlotte Clabaugh.

BOYD ELLERBROEK REPORTED KILLED IN SOUTH PACIFIC
Word has been received here of the death in the Pacific of Boyd P. Ellerbroek, F C 3-c, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Ellerbroek, Jr., of Sheldon, Iowa.
Husband of the former Charlotte Clabaugh, of this city, the sailor was reported killed in action in the south Pacific while serving aboard a minesweeper.
He had served several months in the European theater of war before returning to the United States last October and being transferred to duty in the south Pacific.
Besides his parents, and his wife, he is survived by one sister living in California.

DEATH OF BOYD ELLERBROEK IN SOUTH PACIFIC
Boyd Ellerbroek, Fire Controlman, 3/c, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Ellerbroek of near Sheldon, has been killed in action in the Pacific, according to a message from the War Department received last Friday afternoon. He was on a mine sweeper. –Sheldon Mail.
