Donald Deane Elgin was born May 21, 1921 to John William and Violet Valeria Roseberry Elgin. He died Sept. 8, 1944 and is buried in Brittany American Cemetery, Saint James, France.
Lt. Elgin served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 392nd Fighter Squadron, 367th Fighter Group and was KIA in France and awarded the Purple Heart.
