Silas Corey Eittreim was born Jan. 25, 1919 to Henry and Guro Tokheim Eittreim. He died Mar. 29, 2004 and is buried in Sunset Memorial Park, Scottsbluff, NE.
Capt. Eittreim was stationed at Schick Hospital in Clinton, IA where he was with a veterinary detachment, doing instructor’s work and meat inspection. He also was stationed at the Quartermaster’s Supply Depot in Chicago, IL; Fort Warren, WY; South Pacific Gen. Depot, New Caledonia; New Zealand; and Hawaii.
