Warren Lawrence Eckstein was born Feb. 18, 1920 to Frank Edwin and Rachel Veronica Welch Eckstein. He died Nov. 30, 1985 in East Point, FL.
Pvt. Eckstein served with the U.S. Army in World War II with 7th Army Headquarters; 194th Field Artillery Regiment.

Warren L. Eckstein, 65, former Webster City resident, died Nov. 30 at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital in Florida.
Mr. Eckstein had been residing at East Point, Fla. for the past 18 years.
There will be no services as the body was cremated.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marion J. Eckstein; and four sons, Warren Wade Eckstein, Tuscaloosa, Ala., Wayne Anderson, West Fargo, N.D., Jeffery Anderson of Stratford and Bruce Anderson of San Antonio, Texas. Also surviving is a brother, Richard of Des Moines.
Mr. Eckstein served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
For many years he engaged in the construction business as a brick mason.
