Milton M. Durkop was born Jan. 21, 1915 to Henry and Dora C. Durkop. He died Sept. 11, 1944 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Pvt. Durkop served in World War II with the U.S. Army 1st Infantry Regiment, 6th Infantry Division and died in Sansapor, Dutch New Guinea as the result of scrub typhus.
