Howard Woodrow Durey was born July 31, 1918 to Floyd August and Cora Emily Rolfe Durey. He died Oct. 13, 1944 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Liege, Belgium.
Sgt. Durey served in World War II with the 66th Regiment, 2nd Armored Division and was KIA in Aachen, Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
