John Lawrence Duffy was born Feb. 17, 1916 to Lawrence R. and Iva Clark Duffy. He died Apr. 24, 1944 and is buried in Saint Peters Cemetery, Temple Hill, IA.
Sgt. Duffy served in World War II with the U.S. Army 328th Field Artillery Battalion, 85th Infantry Division and was KIA in Italy.
