Robert Preston Donald was born Dec. 3, 1917 to James E. and Emma L. Wilson Donald. He died Mar. 31, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Lt. Donald served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 431st Fighter Squadron, 475th Fighter Group. He was MIA/KIA in the South Pacific area and was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
