Otto J. Doeppke, Jr. was born May 6, 1923 to Otto J. (Sr.) and Pauline Grace Staub Doeppke. He died Apr. 5, 1944 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.
Sgt. Doeppke served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 723rd Bomber Squadron, 450th Bomber Group, Heavy and was KIA over Rumania. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
