Donald Dean Dickey was born Aug. 19, 1922 to Ira Morris and Laura Ellen Trent Dickey. He died Oct. 19, 1944 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 5, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii. He also has a cenotaph in East Linn Cemetery, Redfield, IA.
Petty Officer Dickey served in World War Ii with the U.S. Navy Bombing Squadron 106 and was MIA/FOD/KIA in the South Pacific while serving his country.
