Dexter Killed in Philippines
Sergt. Ivan Dexter, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Dexter, 4228 Adams st., was killed in action in the Philippines Feb. 1, his parents were informed Saturday by the war department.
Sergeant Dexter's home was Janesville, Wisc, and he had been a member of the Wisconsin national guard. The last word his parents had from him was Nov 3., when he was in Honolulu.
He is survived by three small sons who are living in Beloit, Wis., a sister, Natalie Dexter who is a student at Iowa State college, and another sister and two brothers.
