Overseas Since September: Missing in Action in Germany Since the 18th of December

Corporal Raymond O. Dennis, 33, has been missing in action near Luxemburg, Germany, since Dec. 18 as reported to his father, M.B. Dennis, in a message from the war department, received Tuesday.

Cpl. Dennis was with the army tank destroyer battalion, and thought to be with the first army. He has been overseas since September, 1944.

He went into the first draft in 1941 and has received special work in radio and the communications department at Baltimore, Md., Camp Livingston, La., and other camps in Colorado and Texas.

Before entering the service he was employed at the Smith & Smith grocery.

He has one brother in the service, Charles E. Dennis, who finishes his training at Great Lakes, Ill., Monday. His wife and two sons live in Cedar Rapids.
