William John Dedina was born Oct. 29, 1922 to John (Jr.) and Esther Andrews Dedina. He died Dec. 23, 1944 and is buried in the Rock Falls Cemetery, Rock Falls, IA.
Sgt. Dedina was declared MIA on a flight in the South Pacific and was declared dead a year later. He is memorialized at the Fort William McKinley Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, the Philippines.
