Lawrence C. “Larry” De Bruin was born June 11, 1919 to Marinus C. and Anna Klyn De Bruin. He died Dec. 30, 1942 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Brittany American Cemetery, Saint James, France and Oak Wood Cemetery, Pella, IA.
Sgt. De Bruin served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 366th Bomber Squadron, 305th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
