Edward Harrison Davis was born July 14, 1924 to George Edward and Lillian Mae Tucker Davis. He died Jan. 31, 1989.
Pvt. Davis served with the U.S. Army in World War II with the 38th “Cyclone” division near Manila.

Edward Harrison Davis, 64, of Palm Harbor, Fla., died Tuesday, Jan. 31 at Mease Hospital in Dunedin, Fla.
He was born July 14, 1924, in Webster City to George E. and Lillian Tucker Davis. He lived in Webster City with his family until entering the U.S, Army. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1942.
In March of 1985, he moved to Florida from Dallas, Texas. Prior to his retirement, he was a purchasing agent and estimator for a construction company.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; two daughters, Leslie Ann Pollard of Rochester, N. H., and Karen Suzanne Boatright of Windsor, Colo.; one brother, Bernard B. Davis of Minnesota, Minn.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
He was a member of George Young Memorial United Methodist Church in Palm Harbor, Fla.
