Leonard Thomas Damerval was born May 15, 1924 to Lezium and Usmarine “Marie” Dutemple Damerval. He died Oct. 22, 1944 and is buried in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Pvt. Damerval served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died in an airplane crash in Iceland while in the service of his country.
