Robert Lee Crooks was born July 13, 1924 to Herbert L. and Laura Maitland Crooks. He died Feb. 26, 1945 and is buried Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.
Pvt. Crooks served in World War II with the U.S. Army 58th Infantry Battalion, 8th Armored Division and was KIA in Holland and awarded the Purple Heart.
