Walter L. Crampton was born June 12, 1915 to Walter and Minnie Julia Wagner Crampton. He died Oct. 3, 1944 and is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Sigourney, IA.
Capt. Crampton served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry and died of wounds received in action in the South West Pacific.
