Jesse J. Cotton was born June 4, 1914 to Jesse Eli and Lela Maude Ruggles Cotton. He died June 15, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Sgt. Cotton served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 45th Bomber Squadron, 40th Bomber Group, Very Heavy and was MIA/FOD/KIA in India while serving his country.
