IOWA FALLS--Donald H. Cormaney, 77, of Iowa Falls, formerly of Mason City, died of cancer at his home on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001. Services were held Friday, Aug. 10, at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Union Cemetery, both in Iowa Falls. Rev. Rhoda Preston officiated.
Donald was born Sept. 19, 1923, in Woolstock, to Earl and Anna Maria Schultz Cormaney. He served in the United States Army in 1945-46. He was a farmer and a member of the Elliott-Keninger American Legion Post No. 252, Ackley. Don enjoyed gardening and fishing in Minnesota and Canada.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers, and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Adelbert, Chuck, Earl Jr., and Kenneth; and three sisters, Esther Riley, Shirley Meyer, and Violet Cormaney.
