Pfc. Charles Boyd Coontz
Pfc. Charles Boyd Coontz, pictured, was killed on Anguar Island near the Philippines, September 17 [1944]. Pfc. Coontz was a member of the eighty-first division. He is a graduate of the Garden Grove high school. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. [Durbin B. & Lena B.] Coontz of near Garden Grove.
Memorial services were held at the Methodist church in Garden Grove Sunday.
