Orville Birch Conn, Jr. was born June 9, 1921 to Orville Birch (Sr.) and Cora Esther McNamee Conn. He died Aug. 10, 1944 and is buried in Brittany American Cemetery, Montjoie Saint Martin, France.
Lt. Conn served in World War II with the U.S. Army 28th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron and was KIA in Normandy. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
