IN UNIFORM
Donald T. Clausen, boatswain’s mate third class, son of Mrs. Mary B. Clausen, 501 Omaha Street, and Bernen W. Watson, seaman second class, son of Robert E. Watson, 309 14th Street, are members of the crew aboard a destroyer mine-sweeper in the Pacific. Since participating in one of the most critical periods during the landings at Guadalcanal, and capture of the Guadalcanal-Tulagi area, until recent engagements in western Pacific waters including Palau, Leyte and Lingayen Gulf, the destroyer minesweeper has continued to aggregate achievements.
