Harold L. G. Carstens was born Sept. 1, 1923 to Will B. and Grace Johnson Carstens. He died Mar. 27, 1945 and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
Pvt. Carstens served with the U.S. Army Fourth Armored Division in World War II and died of wounds received in fighting in Germany.
