James Franklyn Carroll was born June 21, 1919 to Paul W. and Bessie Isabel Lillie Carroll. He died Feb. 16, 1945 and is buried in National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii. His remains were returned from USAF Cemetery, Yokohama No. 1, Japan.
Lt. Carroll served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and died in the service of his country. He was awarded the Air Medal.
